Install blade

Setting up the BLADE
A blade comes in two boxes: the machine and the dome. After unboxing the appliance, the Blade has to rest for 2 hours. Simply install the tap handle and tighten it on the side and plug in the appliance.

Press the orange button
Use a keg that has been precooled for at least 16 hours. Use your thumb to press the orange button at the bottom of the keg until you hear a āclickā.

Connect the keg
Open the tap lid. Insert a pre-cooled keg into the appliance. Make sure that the kegās tube is correctly inserted and aligned to the orange groove. Push the black part of the spout into the tap and close the tap lid. Remove the red cap.

Place the dome
Place the dome over the appliance to keep the keg cold.

Switch on BLADE
Turn on the appliance by pressing the ON-OFF switch on the right.

Lock the keg
Flick the switch down to lock the keg in the appliance. The indicator light should turn solid green.

Check the temperature
Use the gauge to make sure the beer has reached the right temperature before pouring. Make sure you pre-cool the kegs in a cold storage between 0-4Ā°C at at least 16 hours before use.

Check the temperature of the beer
To pour a perfect beer, the keg must be cold

Start fresh
Take a clean and rinsed glass

Tilt the glass to a 45 degree angle
Open the beer tap fully

Pour in one single motion
Straighten the glass when 3/4 full, and fill the glass till full.

Skim the beer
Place the glass on the drip tray and use a wet skimmer to skim the top of the foam.

Serve the beer
Serve the beer on a coaster with the logo facing the guest.
Switch kegs

Unlock the keg
Ensure that the keg is empty. Flick the lock switch up and make sure the red indicator light stops blinking and is turned off.

Remove the keg
Remove the dome and the tube from tap. Take out the keg.
